Chris David Chapman graduated in Armed Conflict and Crisis Management. He has more than 25 years of experience working in the field of international human rights law and the rights of minorities and Indigenous Peoples. He is currently Indigenous Rights Researcher and Adviser at Amnesty International where  he mainly works on the rights of Indigenous Peoples in relation to conservation, protected areas, and the promotion of biodiversity. Between 2000 and 2014, he worked for Minority Rights Group International, where he held the positions of Head of Conflict Prevention, Conflict Prevention Programme Coordinator and International Advocacy Officer. Chris also carried out fieldwork in many countries including Haiti, Iraq and Kenya.
